ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS
The registration process includes three steps:
• Online Registration
• Filling Application Form
• Payment of Fees
How to fill the Online Application Form?
Interested candidates have to apply for the Common Admission Test 2022 in online mode only.
Step 1: First, visit the official website i.e. Click here & click the “New Candidate Registration” tab.
Step 2: Click on the “Generate OTP” tab. The candidate will receive OTP his/ her registered email id.
Step 3: Then log in and fill in the following details,
Personal Details, Communication Address, Emergency Contact Details

Step 4: Fill in the academic qualification details
Step 5: Enter other personal details, communication details, emergency contact details and upload all the required documents in a predefined format.
Step 6: Work experience details (if applicable). IIM programs & Interview cities. Choose any four preferred test cities.
Step 7: Finally online payment of the application fee.

Preview Registration form
The candidate should preview the form before making payment. The candidate cannot make any changes in the application form upon payment of the fee. So do not forget to check the filled application form before paying form fee.
Confirmation email after a successful registration
The candidate will receive a confirmation email after the payment of the fee.
Forgot Login ID
Click the "Forgot User ID/ Password" tab and enter the registered email ID and captcha. The candidate will receive the CAT user ID on the registered email id.
Click the "Forgot User ID/ Password" tab available on the home page of the official CAT website. Enter your registered email ID and captcha. The candidate will receive the new password on the registered email id. If the candidate were using multiple passwords, candidates should use the password which is in the most recent SMS received from IIM.
Application Form Correction Window
The IIM opens the correction window for the application form closes it within two days. The candidates can modify mistakes in scanned images of photographs, signatures, or other documents during the period of the CAT application form correction window. The candidate can make changes to the test city option. The candidate must log in and adjust the images as needed.
Unchangeable details in Registration
The candidate cannot edit the personal details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Email Address & Mobile Number, after confirmation of form submission.
In such a case, they have to register again with a new email id.
