10 ÷ 18 + 25 x 20 - 5 = ?
A) 384 B) 450 C) 454 D) 400 E) 500
SOLUTION:
Given expression is 10 ÷ 18 + 25 x 20 - 5
After substituting the signs as given in the question, the equation becomes
= 10 + 18 × 25 – 20 ÷ 5
Apply the rule BODMAS,
= 10 + 18 × 25 – 4 = 10 + 450 – 4 = 460 – 4 = 454
ANSWER: C
